Everyone was some emo, skater listening to Linkin Park. It was kinda cringe but a better than what we have now. One of the best periods for gaming also

Me too. Mid-late teenage years and all that goes with it. Life wasn't as...bleak. Gaming was more fun. I miss how the internet was back then too. It had a different vibe.

Internet was way less focused on social media, way less drama ...just a more simpler time

Before literally everybody had a smartphone they were glued to 24/7

Before online gaming was just a fun casual hobby and not full of sweats trying to become Twitch millionaires

Before my back and knees started hurting every fucking day

Good times.

I miss that era, too. Actually... i miss 1995 - 2012. It's been shit since, and I got my 6 figure job in 2014, but it's just the way things are in the world. People aren't as cool and fun anymore.

I miss it too, was a good time especially because of Toonami and discovering anime. Dragon Ball, Gundam, Outlaw Star, etc. I had never seen anything like those shows, shit blew my mind.

Literally everyone and their mother made fun of "emos" and people who listened to angsty music.

Linkin Park's influence over the metal world (especially metalcore) is probably the biggest of the last 20 years. Up there with *gasp* Slipknot. I know this post will go over well on this site. The metal board can GTFO.
