I don't see the point in going to college unless you have a specific plan you are committed to carrying out that requires a college degree and paying the heavy tuition fee but good luck to them. I do recognize a couple names they brought up to be collaborating on the project.

IMO That metaphor doesn't make sense.

There is a wide range of schools at each level, the gradeschool experience is not a monolith, and any problem with gradeschools doesn't prevent people from trying to improve the higher education experience.

I prefer in-class lectures. If you still dont understand something you have plenty of time after class to ask. Video lectures you have to send an email and hope they see it and respond and its just so annoying.

In my experience, while there really isn't time, students will often force time to exist to stand in line and ask the prof questions (presumably to avoid having to go to office hours)

That's highly dependent on the school. I go to a fairly small state school doing a major with very few people in it, so typically there's enough time to ask questions after class

College/University is dangerously broken due to the pricing and ever increasing administrative bloat.
If lower education is also that broken, then yes it needs to be fixed. But that doesnt mean college should be ignored.
