AzurexNightmare 11/05/21 3:57:15 AM #1:	As far as a game that was thought of and created. Games that feel that they normally would have never existed. 1. Kingdom Hearts. This doesn't seem like a big deal anymore but it WAS in 2001 2. Devil May Cry as it was going to be a Resident Evil game. 3. Duke Nukem Forever. 4. MGS3 Snake Eater. The fact that we had Big Boss as a main character and it was in a jungle in the 60's was pretty unexpected and bad ass. 5. RE4. They ditched zombies and made a rookie cop a Secret Service bad ass. Was Leon CIA? I forget. Not to mention that this game was overhauled so many times. Not only did the original RE4 become DMC1 which basically invented a new genre, but the finished RE4 that we know today ALSO did. That's nuts. How often does that happen? Two games that originally had the same title invented two new genres/sub-genres. 6. Persona 4 Arena. Something personal for me was there were actually great rpgs outside the Final Fantasy franchise, as when I bought Shadow Hearts 1 and love it more than FFX. Blockbuster and Jumbo video shutting down was a big deal during the mid 2000s.
