Tries to talk about an actual issue, isn't particularly compelling but it worked alright and I respect the attempt.

Good for a Mega Man X game (prefer X5-- that might actually crack 5/10 for me), but Mega Man being lighthearted plays to the strengths of the series.

This one isn't like SotN where it's melodramatic camp the whole time-- this is a totally straight-faced story with some moments of bad voice acting. It's totally different.

I actually like the Mega Man X series plot but this was just awkwardly slamming the advancements in storytelling the PS1 enabled into SNES degrees of vagueness at high speeds. Awful voice acting and writing. Good memes though.

Double betrayal is memorable for me, and the fight between Zero and Sigma in the cutscene is very good in Japanese version, see Zero laughts. This game is important in story for the X series.
