Running on promises, backing down on them, lining her pockets in donations from lobbyists, and doing so brazenly and out in the open. Anyone who attempts to approach her on this is ignored, repelled, or evaded. She refuses to meet with her own constituents who elected her. She basically embodies everything working-class America hates about politicians, regardless of sides. Even most of the worst of them will take the time to meet with constituents, even if they're carefully selected glad-handers. Sinema is basically giving away the game in a way that few politicians have done in this country. Like you'd have a point if she even tried to make an effort to be a representative for her state. She's a professor at a university - she hides from her students when they ask her why she's going against every progressive policy she has a say in. She gleefully shoots down proposals opposed by the Republicans, with a wink and a smile. I feel bad for the married couple, but the right of the American people to petition the government for a redress of grievances is a vital aspect of freedom, and this act of protest came to be because Sinema refuses to engage with her constituents who are rightfully fucked off that she's gone against her entire platform. She could have spoken to her actions as senator multiple times in the past, when people were less angry than they are now.
