Yeah you could do that. Actually managing to buy a GPU though, OTOH.....

Yeah, during normal times that amount will get you a great PC. Good luck getting a good current GPU that won't eat up far too much of that budget these days, though.

Best off getting a prebuilt that has a 3060, 3060ti, 3070 within it. If you can find a PC like that or even a 3080 of you're fortunate then it's a good deal.

Buy a prebuilt and swap out the power supply is the best way to go. Otherwise, right now, you'll probably get a GPU and half a PC at that price. Maybe.

The problem is, gpu prices are so messed up because of covid and the shortages. You should have been able to make a nearly top of the line build with $1800. Now though, you'd have to go lower on performance.

It's probably better to buy a pre-built, unless you want to do a lot of stock watching. Something like this CyberpowerPC is just over $1800 with a 3070 (not saying this is the best available, just an example from a quick search)

I'm pretty sure that right now, that isn't even enough for a 3050

Buy a pre-built or a laptop for that price though, and you'll get what you want.

It's enough to get you an RTX 3070, and then $800 leftover the rest of your parts. Good luck.
