I look at tier lists, and I like visually appealing moves (or, like, with good game feel)... and all the best looking/feeling moves are usually in the garbage tier

ever tried toxic rain? it looks and feels really good. i played it last tier (the deadeye chaos dot ver) and it was a fun time

mirage arrow ascendancy upgrades lets you have 3 clone archers firing toxic rain building up insane dot dmg as you run around

Oh at least you're suggeting Deadeye. All of the spam about Toxic Rain Champion because of all of the shills recommending it is starting to get insufferable because Toxic Rain isn't anything game breaking (Last time I used it was Ritual).

Whatever you pick just post it here first. There are a lot of misleading guides out there.

Last league was just boring. I think it was the first league in a while I did not reach level 90, yet mid league I leveled a character to 95 in a weekend (Flicker Slayer using Replica Farrul's Fur). This league I am starting a Poison Concoction Pathfinder, and going to switch to Scourge Arrow if I don't like Poison Concoction.

Yea I tied both Deadeye and Raider CA + TR in Ritual. AT the time Raider was better (way better defense) but I can see Deadeye being better now with the changes to Dodge, but that's not stopping people from recommending Raider TR either.

it was a lot less aiming in general too which i thought was sick

Poison concoction looks interesting, especially if you can still get the life flasks regen every x seconds ability (forget where that comes from). Considering playing that for kicks and giggles.

Gotta actually download PoE on my new computer...guess i'll start now.

Found Vaal Arrow Rain and Vaal Clarity

Defintiely keeping Vaal Clarity since it's a freebie, but not sure if I want to support Arrow Rain since already using Toxin Rain

For some reason most of my builds work well with saving arya or whatever the chicks name is that gives 15% resist all, 5 mana regen and 20% crit multiplier. Honestly I pretty much never can get more than that with 2 more points, and the other rewards (even on melee chars etc) don't compare.

Resist all is good on everyone and saves and equipment slot or two later on. Mana regen often is the only mana regen I get lol, for mana melee chars at least and it does the job great, and crit multiplier is much harder to get then crit chance and rocks for most of my builds.

The other choices just never seem to compare to me.

Always kill all.
It's hasn't been anything else since 2.x when you could kill oak for Life or get +Max Charges from the other two.

Builds this league:

1. League Started as Poison Concoction Pathfinder. Was right that this would be a good starter. Screw streamers who can't do basic math on how shotgunning and poison stacking works.
2. Switched to Scourge Arrow PF. Was fun for a few days. Was not tanky enough for the scourged maps I wanted to run.

4. Had 10ex laying around so respeced the Pathfinder into Cold Flicker Raider. Working on that right now. Trying to get 4B on a Replica Abyssus, I'm just strapped for currency as It cost me 2500 fusing to link my farruls fur and didn't want to risk 3.3ex on bricking it with scourge.

The Menagerie holds some absurd amount of beasts. It really doesn't matter.

See I just don't get why Kill All is better (other then being more satisfying).

You get 5 mana regen base + 15% resist all + 20% crit multi, each of which is worth a main node in the tree (without having to deal with minor ones to get there). Almost every build needs mana, and 5 mana regen is really useful, even later on (though admitingly if you have mana leach eventually it's probably not needed due to the huge damage you do). 15 resist all is often worth 2-3 node points, and is always useful later on, and 20% crit multi is also generally worth 2 nodes or a main node point.

I don't see how you get the equivalent bonus in the tree for less than 3-4 node points, even if only 2 of them are useful to you.

I .....GUESS....if your doing a summon character for instance, then it might not be worth it, or anything where you have plenty of mana/regen and don't rely on your own crits as well (still the 15% resist all is ALMOST still worth 2 node points by itself). Could see going Kill all for a summon build or any other build where the damage isn't directly from you....but most other builds, melee, ranged, even most spell builds, seems like you get way more from saving Alara then killing em all.

Two passive points is equal to a jewel socket for basically every build. For me, I have 3 very cheap jewels (got them for like 10c each) that give the following:

• 7% Maximum Life
• 15% Crit Multiplier
• 15% Crit Chance
• <Insert 4th mod here, probably isn't helpful to your build>

And those are just regular jewels. My Flicker Strike Raider, uses Intuitive Leap which saves me 10+ passive points. My Occultist uses a Glorious Vanity for Divine Flesh. Resists are incredibly cheap. Furthermore, 2 points is equal to ~9-12% maximum life if you're grabbing low priority life nodes.

GMP and GV fire their projectiles differently. GMP fires in a cone, Volley does not.

I grabbed gmp as a quest reward, and while I can see it being great on skills that deal a lot of burst... I think I'd prefer increased chaining for Cobra lash since I notice most of its damage is when it bounces between the boss and a minion and for mass aoe I already have spectral helix...

all my projectiles complimented by Flame Wall, of course

950 is really low for that point. You should prioritize life nodes for your next few levels.

I'm a little far from life nodes, but I think I have a max hp basic gem somewhere. I have 4 more nodes to go before my core build is done then I can start expanding

Of course, my core build is just my headspace thinking STACK ALL THE BLOCK

It gives you more damage, and if you have Call of Steel you can use it to do more damage.

Just chuck alchs at gear you can buy from the vendors in Oriath or go to https://www.pathofexile.com/trade.
You also have a crafting bench in your hideout to add a mod to any piece of non-unique gear you have.
