My favorite was Il-nam. At least it was until the end. My second favorite was Gi-hun, so if we go by "favorite at the time of watching" then yes, but if it's my favorite now, then no.

Because Il-nam was on some mind-game shit that I did not appreciate in the end lol

I think the poll should only have "Yes" for an option, because only Gi-hun lives, and I doubt he was anyone's favorite character. Even Gi-hun didn't like Gi-hun.

I don't really have a favorite character.

I thought Ali was really sweet, though. His trust and honesty, while absolutely useless in the games, was a nice light.

I have seen that "Ali maybe didn't die after all" fan videos are a thing. I haven't clicked on any of them but I feel like to answer honestly I have to be in the "I don't know" column even if that's farfetched as fuck.

I could kind of see why they might see it as a possibility. IIRC, they didn't show his death on screen, same as with il-nam. But he would have to be connected to the VIP's in some way to be spared like that and I just don't see that being the case.

I felt bad for your favorite character TC. You can tell she's a product of always feeling rejected, yet still puts her guard down optimistically whenever someone can actually stand her loud ass.

Ah, I forgot about that part. I just remembered that when they shot him, it cut to Sang-Woo's facial expression. So I'm like "maybe that's why they think he's alive?" I don't know how that fan theory is a thing then. That's pretty clear after seeing the scene again.

Also, definitely this. She was a really petty person. And she would rather go out like that than just die on the bridge.

Btw. That whole game was flawed >_>. Without a written miracle, the game would of ended there and the finale would of been ruined for the billionaires. It made no sense to not have a game where you guarenteed a few survivors. I get the first one. If everyone died, it would be early enough for a do over. The 2nd wasn't hard enough to be optimistic and they made some the cookies easier than others, so people could get through. Marbles and tug-o-war were set up to cut everything in half. So, I guess it was just the bridge one that made no sense at that placement. They can also quit at anytime if they get the votes. So, maybe you can chalk it up to uncertainty if continuation being a part of the overall game to begin with. It just feels sloppy to put such a difficult game to win right before the finale to me. Then again, it was one the best to watch.

yeah didnt like the 5th game. There was no real strategy anyone could use unless they worked as a glass maker, everything was basically decided by which order they randomly picked to go in

I don't know how many glass panels there were, but it's possible there were just enough that even if each contestant fucked up their first try, there'd still be a path for the last two without guessing.

Either way, I think it's pretty clear that the VIPs were more interested in watching the poor people willingly kill themselves rather than any kind of fair competition.

there were sixteen players and sixteen guesses had to be made. Compared to the previous games this game was just completely unfair to the players, even when one player finally had a strategy to pass it, the front man cheated him. Just left a really bad taste in my mouth compared to the other games
