Powerful orchestra music, gotta throw in the electronic bits to remind us that this is the PSO2 soundtrack, also pretty cool

some versions of this track contain among my favorite moments in vol9-10(ep6). oh they are in this version. :52-:55. those bits--especially their contrast from the "sounds like an anime" mode of horita preceding it, is so perfect, and they're my favorite second segments of anything from this episode. just to let you know "oh yeah we didn't forget that pso2 is jazz fusion dont worry". this track has a lot more contrast and variety than i remembered, has grown on me a lot it seems and i already loved it to begin with

this is the introduction to the long ones, , , , ha ha

evoke the virtuality is like the horita stereotype where it's inside a computer and sounds like anime at the same time. very defining of one of my favorite categories of pso2 music

violent dynasty is one of the earliest songs if you're listening to all the vols in order to really stand out probably because it's the big boom. it has some complex rhythms that sound more normal than they are and i like that

struggle to live best of the armada songs (obviously i think that it's here), might prefer battleship infiltration a bit more though

resonant nation is very solid to me but doesn't rise much above that. it's sad, because i think it very good for what it is

evoke the virtuality very good it's got all of the PATHENY SOUND (which it probably doesnt but i need words) of a lot of horita's tracks while adding an aggressive drive to it. i dont think a ton of his tracks do that, or at least in this specific vague way i am vagueing about

violent dynasty is great but doesnt compare i am glad it is not getting completely BTFOed
