My least favorite of the Ezio trilogy. The Borgia stuff was interesting most of the time and having Rome as a setting is great, but I honestly didn't care about any of the rest of the story.

A slight step down from AC2 but still really damn enjoyable. The Borgias are great villains and the idea of rebuilding the Assassin's Guild keeps the story flowing. The present day plot also ends with a fantastic cliffhanger.

It's tough to parse what was in ACII vs Brotherhood for me.

Not having the origin of Ezio or the closer makes it much less memorable, and all I remember of the Desmond plot is the ending. Still it retains all the high production values and good overall direction so 6/10

Fair enough, I honestly haven't played this since its release but I remember quite liking the cliffhanger at the time. It got me so hyped for the next game (which ended up sucking a little but yeah!)

It's an AC game so the story isn't really the strong point, but Ezio is great and this middle chapter of his life I found pretty compelling. The was also the last game that had anything interesting at all going on with Desmond, so that's another point in its favor.
