New Digimon anime that's been out for a week or so now. Episode 2 just aired and I enjoyed both quite a bit so far.

Heavy Tamers vibes if you enjoyed Tamers back in the day, I'd definitely check it out if you are a Digimon fan or enjoyed Tamers!

Also Gammamon is adorable and is the best boi.

I thought the pacing of Ep 1 was a biiiit too fast, but really enjoyed the slower pace of the second episode.

Literally spent like the first 6 minutes feeding and bonding with Gammamon <3

Oh yeah, agreed. I was a little tiny bit worried after ep 1 that it was gonna be like those first few episodes of the Adventure reboot where I'd just feel breathless to the point of losing focus. It wasn't on that level but I was sort of prepping for it.

Ep 2 is gold.

Reading around, most people seem very on board so far but some seemed to have a problem with the short evolution sequence in the second ep?

I always thought that they spent too long on the evolution sequences and in some cases they would literally take up half the episode when all of the digimon have to digivolve. Don't tell me that's what you want guys >_>

Something quick, pretty and effective is perfect and gives more time to actually let stuff happen in the episodes, rather than just watching the digimon go from form to form for 5 minutes...

LOL seriously? I was pleased with the brevity. I love evolutions as much as the next guy, but they can get so drawn-out sometimes. Maybe the fear is that if they're that short now, they'll be a total blip later?

I think that's the fear yeah.

I remember when watching Tri, there was a point where every digimon was digivolving and they played out every single one.

I swear it clocked in over like 6-7 minutes for all of them to do it. LOL That's a third of a regular episode!

I really enjoyed the first few episodes of Tri. Like, the Joe - Gomamon episode was legit awesome. The conflict between them felt so real and Joe finally coming back to support Goma was so damn good.

Lost me near the end though, and I loved Meicoomon so much... her tamer on the other hand... :x

I don't really understand the concept but the opening makes it look like some kind of light horror, monster-of-the-week action mystery like Ghost Stories.

Ghost Stories is more or less what I described, centering on some schoolchildren who end up investigating and battling various dangerous supernatural occurrences in their school and town with the intermittent help of an evil spirit sealed in a housecat. Also known for the official English dub being a gag dub.
