I'm not a fan of hers but this seems kinda petty. She's meeting with some kids, everyone acts fake around kids. Also unsure what the issue is with the first clip, is it because she said they'll see the craters on the moon with their own eyes? Iffy wording but I think she meant they'll literally be there as opposed to seeing pictures most of us have to settle for now.

I mean, I defended it at first when I thought it was her actually trying to talk to kids who were gonna be in some program the govt. was doing. But to find out the whole thing was literally scripted with actors... it's a lot less cute. :v

If this was done on Sesame Street people would not complain. It was presented as true interaction. People in this very topic defended it. I am talking about this here an in the Pols board. And I will say the same thing in both places.

This is a nothing burger. It it stupid and make her look fake, and that is about it. However this doubling down and defending it is a what makes it worse. It is like when Trump kept lying about his crowd size and his defenders took up for it. It is not the end of the world it is not something big. It is just stupid . Say it stupid and keep moving.

Im not defending it because there is nothing too defend. Its a harmless video they made with NASA to show to kids about space. Simple as that. You reach kids with these things on YouTube. Who cares if it was scripted? If it gets kids excited for space thats all that matters. Adults arguing about it isnt going to help that. It just makes them look petty. And Im not a Kamala fan at all.
