For ex. people who wanna trap you by making auto calls and wait for a call back. Got some complex ones from new numbers I dont recognize. Complex in they leave voice messages and a new one leaving texts but no mention who it is.

I've been getting empty calls from Saskatchewan and Missouri recently, I tend to not answer a call from an unknown number with a "hello", just silence... let the other person speak first

But they don't speak... they just hang up

Glad hearing its not only me seeing a flood of these. Guessing it was eventual theyd get more complex and leave voice messages? I dont even recognize the voice but sounds like some random white chick talking about being in an AIRBNB like I knew.

I acciently called one back like a week ago. Hung up right away but still had like 10 calls the next 2 days.

It was a local area code so I called it back but then realized what it was as soon as I did that.

Don't know if it's the same thing, but I've been getting a lot of calls where after I answer they say "thank you for calling"... whatever it was for. I have to remind them that they called me. Then all we do is get into an argument about who called whom. It seems rather counter productive to act like I called them when it was my phone that rang. If they were trying to sell something they never get around to doing that because of it.

Same. We only have a home phone so we dont give out our mobiles. For that theres services like NOMOROBO to kill some of em.

I get too many of those, and I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. If they leave a voicemail, I delete it. Too many people have too much time.

One spam caller actually said hello, where I usually answer silent... so I said hello back. They wanted to clean the ducts of my house.

...I don't have a house, as soon as I said the word apartment they INSTANTLY hung up... HOW RUDE!
