22 y/o Robert Aaron Long, the Atlanta Spa Shooter has plead NOT GUILTY to kiling 8 people just after pleading guilty already in July when he got life in prison without parole plus an additional 35 years!!

he appeared briefly in court when he waived arraignment and entered a not guilty plea on charges including domestic terrorism, murder and felony murder

The unexpected change of plea seems to be an attempt by his legal team to gain time and put off a trial in which, if convicted, he will most likely be sentenced to a death penalty

In July, he plead guilty to charges including malice murder, felony murder, attempt to commit murder and aggravated assault.

In March he went on a shooting spree in 2 separate counties which is why the charges were brought separately at first

he killed 4 at Young's Asian Massage and then drove 30 miles south to ATlanta where he shot 3 women at a Gold Spa and one woman across the street

Democrat, Fani Willis is seeking the death penalty and is also pursing a sentencing enchancement under Georgia's new hate crime laws.

6 asian women were killed in the shooting sparking debate it may have been racially motivated given the attacks against asian people over COVID-19.

Robert claims it was not about race but a SEX ADDICTION and blamed the spas for motivating his sexual addiction

That's literally not how the justice system should work, and as somebody who pretends to be liberal and from Canada, it's weird that you'd advocate the death penalty when even most of Canada's conservatives don't believe in it.

I think he should face death whether or not.

I dont support the death penalty. I think making them live with it is worse. And I think small things should be done to annoy them for our entertainment. Nothing violent or overly cruel. But mild annoyances. Like once a week or so play an obnoxious song a few cells over the the bass turned all the way up

or maybe make them feed a group of pugs and bulldogs and then stay in the same room with them with the door closed for half an hour after they eat

Enterpunishment. A wildly slippery slope to be sure, but I say the times call for it. Lets go full fucking dystopian

the system doesnt work like that but the general question wasnt worded for a explanation about the facts about how the us justice system works. It was asking for my opinion about him facing execution.

technically the tc was referring to the plea bargain process but because he worded it as a what do you think question its certainly fair to lay that out like you did.

I don't think he is an "alleged murderer" when he already has been convinced of and sentenced for murder.

The text as posted is an absolute mess yes. My reading implies he has been convicted for 4 murders, but is still standing trial for 4 more. Which means the title is wrong and legally unacceptable yes.

And obviously no, he should not face the death penalty regardless of the situation.

Make the height of every tile in his cell adjustable, and randomly make a different one 4-5 mm taller each day so he stubs his toe on it.
