Honestly the high notes in the chorus and end when he's singing the word heresy is not the hard part of that song. Him sliding in and out between his modal voice and falsetto during the verses is really tough. He's basically using the falsetto to sound like his voice is cracking. Also the gruff he gives his falsetto at times is hard for me to replicate. The verses wear my vocal chords out but the chorus is easy. I can't sing the song all the way through. Yeah there's just no point in putting yourself through that mess. He can find out when you've picked yourself up and dusted off.
