I'm already sick of the silent treatment so when I got off work, I just went in and said "hey you got a minute for a quick smoke outside?" She comes along and I'm being calm this whole time and asked "where are we?" and she starts going into the same old shit show of burying me with all the shit I do wrong. I let her go on for like 20 fucking minutes of just trashing me left and right.... i'm angry, I never wanna do anything, then she even got to a point where she said she didn't want to call me because she figured I wouldn't want to do anything.... So this whole time she's spouting off i'm standing there calmly thinking "Alright, she's doing the same shit. This is is officially over". She finally stops talking and I told her calmly "I understand i'm not perfect and I have fucked up on things but a lot of the shit you just said is a lie or exaggerated". "OHHH REALLY!??" Then she just started fucking yelling at me non stop for like 10 minutes straight... This is all in the parking lot at work and thank fuck nobody was outside to see this. So I honestly knew it was gonna go like this because every time I do get mad at her she immediately goes on the defensive and if I say anything she gets pissed. This was just an all in one shot of that. Oh and she got pissed that I took a week off and didn't bother to look around for counselors for us.... Like what???? YOU wanted this why do I gotta do all this? Shit she's already seeing a therapist and it sounds like they're just telling her what she wants to hear. So now finally FINALLY I can put this to bed. I got some beer on the way home because she stressed me out again, but it was for the last time. It seems like she puts it all on you, always, and it's a two person relationship. You can't just be the punching bag that can do nothing right if that's all she thinks. I feel like inside she knows better, doesn't want to change or doesn't want to admit to her own faults and issues. Guarantee if you tried therapy, and the therapist said you were in the right, she would want to find a new therapist until one came along that only sided with her.
