Time has come, peeps. Place your final bets on Smash DLC. Not necessarily who you want, but who you expect.

As much as it would make sense to have Master Chief coincide with Halo Infinite, and as much as I truly want Waluigi to have a happy ending, I really think Sakurai is gonna throw a curveball and it'll be some obscure retro rep. Something dumb and weird like a deck of Hanafuda cards lol.

Part of me wants it to be Sora, the other is for them to finally add Waluigi or Toad. And a small part of me wants them to come out from left field and add Earthworm Jim.

Still think its going to be Nahobino to tie in with the release of SMTV.

While I'm not against this, I feel like Crash and Master Chief are stronger cases of possible game tie-ins.

I would 100% be down with Tetris. Honestly, it's a little bit shocking there hasn't been more Tetris content in the game. There's two songs and some Spirits clipart. The fact they haven't made a Tetris stage is kind of criminal lol.

I'm hoping for an SMT character, since they don't have a representative yet.

In terms of characters I want, I'm hoping for Master Chief, Heavy Weapons Guy, or Reimu. I just really want a shooting game rep to mix things up.

In terms of characters that I'm impartial to but would be hilarious because they would cause the most chaos and salt in the community, I want Zacian. A gen 8 Pokemon and another anime sword fighter rolled into one would give half the Smash community a brain aneurysm.

I'm actually fairly hopeful that it will be an exciting character. I feel like Kazuya was basically only added because Sakurai wanted him in there.

I know ultimately it's been confirmed that Nintendo gets to pick the DLC, so I really doubt they would have given Sakurai two personal picks in a single pack.

Honestly I've been thinking Scorpion might have a chance. They've already got characters from some of the other most popular fighting games, and being from a mature rated series doesn't necessarily disqualify anyone. Scorpion's iconic as fuck, I wouldn't be surprised if Sakurai hits us with that.

I'd be cool with Crash or even Master Chief too lol I personally wanted Waluigi real bad, but I think I sadly gotta accept his assist trophy status.

Not Sora even though I really wish it was. Dont make it a lame character like Captain Toad or Bandana Waddle Dee at least, please. I really dont like the idea of Crash either, I feel like he wasnt in the public consciousness forever, then got popular after Banjo got in.

I'm honestly surprised that so many people think SMT could get a character. The fact that we got Joker is a fucking miracle, so to get a second character from that shared universe seems virtually impossible.
