The post I quoted is is literally still there lol, the one that used the same insult for the same reason towards the same people. I keep getting moderated for mocking actual trolls on the politics message board in extremely mild ways. I wonder why. Meanwhile people say the most *insane things* there, people I've personally reported for all sorts of screwed up stuff, but they're conservative trolls, so....

I've been here for ages and never felt the need to say anything about moderations. I've been here ages and I've rarely even been moderated. But this string of moderations for using bad words like "stupid" against people who are antivaxxers or whatever else, is both extremely funny and extremely ridiculous.

Watch this get moderated because I posted an image of the word moron directed at literally no one. (I can't find anything in the TOS about not reposting these moderation messages, so if I get dinged for that I guess maybe it should be easier to find the rules.)

tc i got modded for apparently misgendering a person when i brought up i watched a video of theirs years before they came out, even explicitly said that i'd not seen a video from them for years. and the best bit, literally the second post in the topic used the wrong pronoun and didn't get deleted...

like 80% of the rules on this site aren't actually recorded anywhere and at any given time at least 1/3 of the mod staff has a different operating understanding of whatever they are supposed to be enforcing compared to the other 2/3s.

Nah, they called the same people a moron. I was just quoting them, like "refer to what this other person said for my response." The person who originally said it, of course, their message was not deleted lol. This is part of a string of moderations I've got for mocking clear trolls in mild ways, usually antivaxxers, so it seems fairly targeted at this point. To their credit, it's only been message deletions, but like... why even?

Cool thanks. Sometimes mods may do stuff like that if they have certain issues with certain users. It is also possible that you were marked and the other post was not. They are very insistant about "if it isn't in queue, it won't be modded" even though they can just like... see stuff.
