Do you even see their faces past the character select screen? I've seen people complain about this one, but I have no idea why it matters so much. Well lets see. D3 felt like WoW combined with Diablo and not the good World of Warcraft either. personalized loot is a joke to me. I know it pisses people off when people take loot they want but I like the free for all nature. Skill trees is another aspect I enjoyed in Diablo 2. Diablo 3 had a weird perk system that you could change whenever. Atleast in Diablo 2 you had only a few respecs and had to earn the rest. a part from the ambience and randomness of Diablo 2 I enjoy what many find tedious about it. to say Diablo 3 is objectively better than Diablo 2 is like saying Classic wow is worse objectively than retail. they are just different games. The game plays very smooth, graphics are almost on par with D3 in my opinion (updated graphics but not a whole new engine like D2 R). I'm still playing D2 every day a month later, and in fact have not played any game this long without getting distracted and moving on to another game in years. I played D3 for less than a week, getting the remaining characters to end game and maybe playing them 5-10 hours after that before getting totally bored. I've literally gotten 4 chars so far to near end of nightmare only (played all the classes again though, just only 4 to almost hell diff).
