I'm trying to decide who the most competent defense attorney in the series is, between 3-5 Phoenix, 6-5 Apollo, and G2-5 Naruhodo. It kinda disappointed me that the further the series went beyond that, Phoenix almost became flanderized as a guy who never really understood what was going on and just bluffed his way through until he stumbled on the truth (1-5 in particular almost makes Phoenix look stupid at times, which is bothersome to me because he's definitely not stupid), but I'm glad Takumi avoided that pitfall with Naruhodo.

Whew, and with that, the line counts for Great Ace Attorney are complete! Still got time counts left to do, but that's much easier since all I have to do is play. I don't have to keep track of a bunch of other stuff that makes this part of it so time-consuming.
I do still need to sneak in a Layton/Ace Attorney line count, which I might try to do concurrently with the time counts. Having free time to play uninterrupted is difficult now that I'm married! I can pretty much only guarantee it when I'm home alone or she's asleep before me, so I might just work on Layton/AA during the times when I'm not totally free for time counts. --- ... Right, the defendant isn't allowed to talk during witch trials. It's interesting to note, on top of that, that this is quite unlikely to change any time soon - we would either need AA7 to introduce a new protagonist or primary assistant, or for AA7 to have a segment that happens in Khura'in. MAYBE a particularly talkative prosecutor could get over the line in one game, but it's not easy. ... Copied to Clipboard!
