Norway has had a Conservative PM (Erna Solberg) for the past 8 years and she has ruled with different coalitions including several or all of the following: Nationalists, Liberals and Christian Democrats. The Left-leaning parties seem likely to win this election though according to polling. From what I gather: many Norwegians are worried about the clear divides and cracks being caused in society by the Right-wing tax cuts for the richest. Many Norwegians also worry about the climate now and realize that their oil production is contributing greatly to global climate change. These 2 issues seem to have caused the voter shift from Right to Left. All 4 Right-leaning parties have lost voters and the Conservatives is down 5.3% right now. That is approx 20% of their voters gone since the last election. The Nationalists are down 3.4% which is a big chunk as well. The Socialdemocrats are down 1.7% but seem set to take the PM-spot. The more Far-Left parties grow as well as the Green party and the Centerparty which is a farmer, countryside party. Our next election is in September 2022. I like the Norwegian SocDems!
