There's also the image somewhere on Reddit, but I don't generally use that as a reference and don't want to look for it. IIRC it ends up mostly the same recommendations, but the doc I linked has a bit more explanation (including optimal ascension level and alternate builds in cases where it matters). The Reddit image has stat differences IIRC, but most people aren't going to care about that since they're looking for a quick recommendation, rather than trying to figure it out on their own.

The document guide is also nice since I can just go back to the same guide each month, rather than needing to wait for someone to post on Reddit.

IIRC, 9-6 is the safe option for Illya that avoids her critting herself the best, but ranks 10 and 11 have more damage overall. Supposedly 9-6 is more consistent in Arena and other battles that can't be reset, but personally I haven't had much issue using 11-3 Illya during the Arena climb this past month.

She's not bricked when above 9-6.

Reading that guide, it looks like I've already bricked both of my Kokkoros (they're at 10-6 and not 10-2 and I raised Summer Kokkoro's Ex skill), Yui (she's at 11-3) and Shinobu (I leveled her Skulldaddy skill). I have other healers and defense shredders built so Yui and Shinobu aren't that big a loss, but both Kokkoros are really useful and it looks like mine will be suboptimal for a very long time.

Also, I love how they put Akino into the "we're not even going to write a guide for her because anyone insane enough to use her knows what they want out of her and how to build her" yet she's been one of my most-used characters lately but I have no fucking clue how to optimize her.

Also holy fuck, I was going to try Raising Archangel just out of curiosity, but they have such restrictive name settings that Im not even gonna bother. Names have to be 2-8 letters, no special symbols, and its one of those games where everyone has to have a unique name. So someone has Bunny already, and my back ups FuzzyBunny and Meshmashtian wont fit.

I'm starting to really hate the Tower Of Luna. Floor 73 dumpstered my main team, floor 78 dumpstered my second team, and floor 80 dumpstered every other character I had left for the day. I'm definitely not going to be able to clear all 40 floors they added this time before it goes away.

Side note, do we know when the next double normal drops event might be coming?

The guide is basically top clan recommendation stuff. Comments and builds for CB are made specifically with an eye towards manual play and matching specific timelines for CB fights. While this guide doesn't distinguish between the two due to it's focus on being optimal, there is a difference between a character being soft bricked (where they are still usable but with a minor drop off) and hard bricked (where their performance drops substantially).

Particularly on auto, I think 10-6 for either Kokkoro is more of a soft brick than a hard brick. My S.Kokkoro is in a similar boat, though I hadn't gone all the way to 10-6 and should be able to keep at 10-5, and I haven't had too much issue using her when needed since I auto everything. It is a bit frustrating to see that you ended up sub-optimal though, especially given the overall community attitude towards it.

The Akino comment is a bit funny actually. She doesn't contribute much in CB or Arena right now relative to her competition, which is why she has that comment in the guide. But she's a recommended unit for Luna Tower per the other guide I linked due to being a tanky, AOE healer with some damage, which can actually be useful for certain floors.

Yeah, I noticed that. She seems to be terrible in those more competitive modes because she's a generalist that doesn't specialize in anything, but she's great for normal story missions and the Tower Of Luna where you need a balance of damage output and long-term survivability. Running a full front line team (so all 5 team members are inside Akino's healing field) of two tanks, two damage dealers, and Akino has been working great for me.

It definitely has that vintage gacha taste

**Smart Auto has been added!**

To summarize what Smart Auto is, it's basically the same auto function we've had up until now, with some exceptions to when UBs are used by the auto function.
- UBs that heal HP and/or TP will only be used when a character or characters that can be healed has fallen low enough in HP
- Anna will now only use her UB when there are 8 seconds left in the fight
- UBs that stun or prevent actions will only be used when enemies are not already stunned or unable to perform actions
- UBs that cause confusion or charm will only be used if there are 3 or more enemies that are not affected by confusion or charm, or if no enemies are affected by confusion or charm
- SFChieru will use her UB when she is either below 37 "Cherus," or above 40 "Cherus"

Last note:
- Arena and Princess Arena will continue to only use the Auto function, and not the Smart Auto function

Luna Tower was a bitch this time round. Finally got it done though, and now working on the last EX stage, but don't think going to get anywhere close to doing it without some severe gear grinding.

Also, for those who play Arknights, seems Under Tides is confirmed to be coming shortly/next now, so two best girls to fail to get! Skadi Alter (the limited) really does look bonkers good though.

I made it all the way to floor 105 in the Tower Of Luna today, way farther than I expected. I might actually be able to clear 110 (the last of the normal floors so far) at this rate. Same as with the first time though, I'm not even going to attempt the EX floors because I know they're way out of my reach.

Most of them still not at their optimal "11-4" ranking. Might help others, but I might have just got lucky RNG.

Fair enough, a lot of mobile games this year have been really hit or miss. I think Disgaea is one of the only ones I've still managed to stick with because while it doesn't do anything amazing, it also hasn't done anything to annoy me either.

Operation Siren drops in higher level areas, and you can buy gold mat boxes from the OpSi shops each month. The new level 95 Fierce Assault dailies can also drop purple and gold gear lab mats.

God dammit I need to get my player level up. Im only level 93 so I cant do the highest level dailies to get the stuff I want :<

Also lol Final Gear literally has a character named Mama who has the very definition of mommy milkers

Unfortunately it seems pretty random. All you can do is collect boxes, do missions, and check port shops in OpSi and do the lv95 Fierce Assault Daily Raids.

Welp I gave up on Final Gear. The combat is fun, character designs are nice, mecha customization is great, but...The map. It's so damn stupid. After you finish a fight, it takes you right back to the map where movement is done in real time, so you can have like 8 enemies rushing towards your base to capture it, and you just have to pause as quickly as you can so that you can set a squad on a route to intercept them. I have no clue why they didn't just give you an option to go into that pause mode where you can map out a route after a fight instead of having to stop the game manually every single time <_<
