Im gonna get Frostfire today :D

Unfortunately I spent the entire day with my friends (this sounds way worse when I say it lol) so I didnt do the dailies for any of my games, so I have to catch up so I cant just spend a ton of time trying her out :((

Lul yeah that's why you gotta abandon all social life for gacha. Frostfire is pretty deece, but I think in general Snipers are a bit underpowered in this game. Frostfire also kinda needs her max breakthrough to reach her potential, cuz she powers up every time she uses her skill at max BT, which makes her good for stages with a lot of enemies. But without max BT, which would take anybody a while to max I think, cuz you need more than 5 of the crests, her best use is to pair her with a unit that powers up with skill usage. The only unit that comes to mind tho is Tessa, but she's elec type.

Also... this round of boss Gerztrude is also best dealt with a forest team. At this point, if you have a forest team and nothing else, then you can basically afford to get 2k on 2 of the bosses and still be on par for getting max rewards

Heh, I've gotten all the legendary BT stuff from the events up to now, and I've been grinding the crap out of fire EXP and nightium stages so I can level her up fast lol

I went nuts in Guardian Tales and maxed out 4 new Uniques and now I have no more awakening stones lol

I came so close to finishing the Tower Of Luna today. Like, literally on floor 70 with every enemy beaten except the boss who's on a third of his health close. Oh well, I'll just finish it off tomorrow. Not sure if I'll bother with the Ex stages.

I also finally beat the 50 stamina Exp/Coin grinding stages in Tenkafuma. They were annoying though, so I'll just use skip tickets on them in the future.

Man Girl Cafe Gun is starting to get annoying. I dont like games that distract from the gameplay with a shitload of fluff interactions, and theres so much texting stuff on the side. At least in AS the conversations are brief and there arent that many. GCG has a ton, and theres so much bonding and shit. I have to go to them and skip, since otherwise the marker indicating that theres unfinished business will bug me <_<

I hated that game. Loading times were horrendous, gacha rates were terribad, no way to select your attack targets, some of the missions were bullshit like use your special when the enemies die before you can charge it, the currency gain was bad, and their upgrading was stupid as fuck, since not all Digimon could reach their final forms. Like if you pull a Botamon/Koromon/Agumon, it might be capped at MetalGreymon. The "SSR" Digimon are the ones that are actually allowed to Digivolve into their Mega forms.

Also Vegy, didn't you suggest the game a while back? I don't think it was in this topic; I believe you made your own topic suggesting it. But when I mentioned the above stuff you didn't offer a complete rebuttal; you just picked a few things <_<

My main beef is with the combat since you can't target anyone. That, and the absolutely atrocious loading times. A side beef is with how they handled the Digivolving.

While I enjoy the game otherwise, this *is* admittedly some of the biggest bullshit I've had to deal with. Thankfully those kinds of missions stop appearing after awhile.

I suppose I'm not as bothered by the form "capping" because if I'm being honest, I think some Digimon have cooler Ultimate forms compared to their Mega ones (Myotismon and WereGarurumon immediately come to mind).

The texting is super annoying for sure. I especially hate how there is a delay to show they're typing. I only do it on the characters I'm using, otherwise I'd go insane.

Oh dang I didnt realize that Michaels active skill could do her level 2 chain attack. I guess if you travel far enough itll do that instead of just hitting the surrounding 8 squares.

Oh huh it's dependent on how far huh. I wonder if it's possible to do lvl 3

Also nice Smokey and Frostfire. You have the makings of a full fire team. Smokey is basically a detonator so should be pretty good.

Me on the other hand... still haven't even pulled Genevieve, let alone Smokey. I didn't think it was gonna be this bad. On the other hand, I managed to pull 3 Takis while going for Hiiro. God, can't even imagine my pain if I didn't manage to pull Hiiro back then

Welp. Turns out this was possible, many parts thanks to various hard to obtain things like max BT Schwartz and a friend that had a freaking max BT Eve. I think I have enough points to half ass one boss and get a decent score on at least one of the 2 remaining bosses for max rewards

He's also got voiced cutscenes when you talk to him like other characters. He's a NPC++ basically.

That's weird then. Guessing you weren't doing anything to warrant a ban as well?

A bit concerning if they have a fault anti cheat measure account in, or are just accidentally banning accounts. One guess might be issue with any payments if bought anything?

Yeah, that is annoying. You can make it just auto through X stages which is better than other gachas but not sure why not just go the whole way at that point.

Only thing I did was play on different devices at different points in the day, like I do with every other game lol. I suppose they could be having a fit about one of them being an emulator, but I haven't heard of anyone having that problem in the previous regions.

Yeah, it's pretty grindy. I've had my fair share of salt myself and contemplated quitting. There was a several month period where If I got a red orb it was a dupe of someone useless or something I have no use for. But then my luck turns around almost like the game doesn't want me to quit.

Hmm, maybe a security function that views log-ins from different devices as "suspicious" so they freeze the account until they get verification that it's you on both.

Finally fucking did it baby. It kinda took a lot more effort and retries than I'm willing to admit (a LOT). For Queen, even tho the score is the lowest, that one took the most luck lol. I just didn't have the right team for it. If I had a max BT Barton, I can sorta see a higher score, but it didn't matter because Forest team absolutely wrecked Desolate Monarch in like 3 tries with a 3k score.

Max reward is 18000 so yeah, pretty happy and probably didn't need to go so ridiculous on Queen and just took the L with a 2k. I was nervous about not being able to do Monarch so I kept going with an RNG heavy strat.

Also this was probably one of the most fun I ever had in a gacha. It was difficult but I felt rewarded for good strats and good units

Well I discovered something that sucks nards in Girl Cafe Gun. To level up characters, you HAVE to use the exp item that's the same as the girl you're enhancing. It's not like every single other game where if the type matches then you get bonus exp. Nope, you have to grind exp stages for specific types <_<

It seems pretty clear to me that this is Cygames problems. Everything from the 4pm reset to the horrible launch issues screams that Cygames copy pasted their old VMs with different text data. Guardian Tales never had problems like this. Arena was shitty the first few months but that was the only problem.
