She was with her extended family at Glenwood Caverns amusement park on Sunday when she slipped out of the ride immediately when it went to the top as family screamed in horror of the incident Bemni Mekonnen, a family friend appeared on Good Morning America to say "This is a parent's worst nightmare and something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy" He said park workers began CPR on the child almost immediately until paramedics arrived who then took over but it was too late and they had requested a coroner He said he family is shattered and they could not come to terms with the death and began praying at a church and went down on their knees to pray to God to bring her back to life and bargained with him with ANYTHING he wants to grant their wish... Documents show the popular free fall ride passed each of its annual regular compliance inspections by 3rd parties since it opened as the ride was made specifically to be seatbelt only as the designer wanted a "death defying experience" Under Colorado Law, an amusement park operator and its employees can be used for acting in a reckless manner but customers who sign a liability waiver legally agreed to let a business act negligent An example of a reckless conduct could be allowing a person to ride with their seat belt undone or delaying critical maintenance on the attraction.
