I care about a society that thinks it gets to decide when someone should be pre-meditatively killed. I'm against the death penalty. I'm against revenge vigilantism. I don't budge on that, and I never will.

And the specific people celebrating this man's actions are showing us all who they are. That they believe they have a point where they're allowed to pre-meditatively kill someone and believe they should not only avoid consequences but be celebrated. Would they ever actually do it? Probably not, but they're convincing themselves there's a point.

Except I have never once said he should have been murdered or wrote any revenge fantasties about how he should be murdered. In fact I looked at ways the killer could either be tried by the system and ultimately freed or declared unfit to stand trial and therefore not criminally responsible for his actions.
I think him spending anytime in prison would be a travesty and I'm sure most of Russian people agree with me which is why it won't happen.
What he did was a crime and murder but given the circumstances I believe we can acknowledge the crime without punishing the father who needs to be there for his daughter one of the true victims in this.
Your high handed moralizing on the backs of raped children is pretty low to be honest.

There were other ways you could have put your case across without the deliberately provactive language you used. Many others have done so.
You have drawn the reaction you have desired and now playing the martyr after getting what you wanted is a bit rich.

I don't see why society is always brought up for this kind of thing. Individual cases can be judged by, you know, the individual factors of the case. Laws have never been hard and fast, even if we try to pretend they are.
