I think we have 1 mosque, which is definitely better than a lot of places, but there are different sects of Islam so that might suck for some folks. The white supremacists in the area would freak, but other than that I don't see any issues... and there's nothing new about the white supremacists freaking out, lol. Edit: was just doublechecking. You'll have the first wave not really wanting to conform and face prejudice but then the next generation will grow up through the public school system (which at this time is horrible) and become more Americanized. I think cos the twin cities are so diversed and have already gone through previous refugees coming here i think most people will be welcoming these refugees in with open arms. Not everyone but many of them either don't want a job and just want free money from the state and goof off or are just incompetent. Many of them won't even bother learning the language(even when the state literally gives them Swedish classes for free). And I remember headlines from a few years ago when a bunch of them were sleeping on the job because they were too exhausted from fasting(during our summers, the sun is up literally 24/7 so it can be very hard for them to know when to eat). And these people were in charge of taking care of elderly people who can't take care of themselves. I respect people for having a religion and that's great but I also expect them to do their job. There are exceptions of course. I know at least five people/coworkers who are from other countries(two from Middle East, one from Asia, one from Africa and one from Poland). They can all speak Swedish really well(except for the Polish guy who only speaks English) and they're literally one of the kindest people I've ever met in my life. And when my sister was swapping apartments with this pregnant immigrant lady, her friends were so darn helpful our family barely got to help with the move. They were like "No no we take this. You take something lighter." I mean, their Swedish weren't the best but they sure had a good heart and I commend that.
