Well, I like the taste of hard (if good hard, as noted above). However, they're a pain to eat: it's hard to get as much as you want and everything good you add falls out...so I usually go with soft.

Usually prefer a soft tortilla

although every once in a while a place will have crunchy flour tortillas and those are great too

All th ehard ones I eat just fall apart after one or two bites, I like soft so muh more. And I realize I might just have bad hard tacos.

And if they don't, it's because you either put significant effort into eating them very carefully in order to keep them intact, or you barely put anything into them, all for pretty much the same experience as you'd get from a plate of nachos for a fraction of the effort. The crunch is nice, but there are much more efficient ways to add that to a meal.
