It sounds like 11 will be more similar to 10 than most Windows upgrades are too their predecessors, but I'm still a bit worried about compatability issues. Probably worth waiting a few weeks or months.

I think I ran a test when 11 was first announced and my processor isn't capable of running it; it's only a few years old so I was kind of surprised by that.

I have a new CPU in the waiting but I need a new mobo and RAM to go with it. Only then will I have a computer capable of running it, since my parts are currently 6 y/o and apparently that's too old. Weird!

Oh, it sounds like the free upgrade will be rolled out in waves, starting October 5 and ending somewhere mid-2022. It'll go in order of newest computers. So most people won't be able to upgrade right away. Only those with brand-new computers will be exceptions...

My Desktop is still on Windows 7
I'll be upgrading my Laptop fairly quickly in order to test the update's function to possibly apply it to my customers. If it's too unstable I'll probably stick with 10 as long as possible. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! ... Copied to Clipboard!

I remember when I upgraded to Windows 10 and my computer went to complete shit after that. It wasn't the OS itself, on my new computer it's great, but upgrade process was just so flawed it caused endless problems.

I'm still waiting for a decent moment to build a new PC, so I expect the current one will remain un-upgraded and the new one will probably come with 11 from the start.
The only feature I'm aware of is that it will supposedly be able to run Android apps, which I do find very interesting. Fingers crossed it works well. --- The shattered stage is set and there's a role you must fulfil ... Copied to Clipboard!
