Otherwise you would be making an extra $600 a week originally then an extra $300 a week currently, all that on top of whatever your state's pay out was. For companies and employees to agree on a fair wage themselves instead of the government getting involved. It sounds good on paper, but the reality is, large corporations would try to pay workers as little as possible.
