I just wanted a place to express my feelings on my fitness journey so here we are again.

I've been consistently hitting the gym for about a month now! Been working with a personal trainer for 3 weeks and I'm super happy with how things are going. I've already gained 10 pounds since I started! I'm sure some of it is fat, but I'm not worried about that, as long as I'm gaining muscle. Which I know I have been because I've already gained 3/4s of an inch on my arms and I'm excited lol.

Anyway, how is everyone else doing with their fitness?

Today was leg and core day. I kinda hate the combination because they both wear me out the most on their own, do em the same day and I'm dying. Got finished about 30 mins ago and I'm still breathing heavy and don't want to move. Ugh. Just gotta remind myself it'll all be worth it!

Not sure my obliques have been sore yet but yeah abs are weird. Like it feels harder to stand up straight lol.

I fucked up my rotator cuff and I have no idea how I did it. I tried to go back to working out too early and didn't let it heal enough, so I'm giving it more time now before I try to hit it again.

Frustrating.

I fucked up and abductor in my hip a couple years ago, could not do any leg exercises outside of very light machine assisted work for like 8 months. I still feel the effects of it today because my flexibility is completely screwed on it.

Shit sucks because you can't do much but wait.

So Friday was shoulders and hiit. But for some reason my left shoulder felt like it was trying to dislocate when we were doing our warm up, so we took it easy for that day. But it's still been bothering me all weekend and then this morning there were a couple times when doing back and chest where I felt like a pressure in it and I'm really worried now about injuring it. But it's also upsetting because I don't want it to set me back on my progress. :/ I didn't tell my trainer it was bothering me which I feel isn't a good thing to withhold but ugh.

So my shoulder has been bothering me since Friday. During yesterday's workout, it was giving some problems and we had to stop and switch up what we were doing. My trainer said he'd look into some exercises that specifically target and help with the problem for today, so hopefully it helps.

I gotta get back into exercising. I keep making excuses like not wanting to use my spare time on it instead of hobbies. If I had been exercising regularly I wouldve probably lost almost double what Ive already lost this year so far (35 pounds or more)
