They were told to have a years worth of savings set aside. They did.
The rules are you only have to follow one piece of "advice" in your life and if you pick the wrong one it doesn't matter.

They had to either pull themselves up by their bootstraps OR have a years worth of money put aside and they chose this. It's basic laws of humanity and i'm pretty sure it's in the Constitution.

Why don't the tenants have a year set aside or pull themselves up by their boostraps and pay rent?

I formed a coalition with some of the most successful armed robbers in my area and we successfully lobbied the local government to make it legal. Also, if anyone resists the robberies, the sheriffs department will come and help us seize their property.

I was joking with my post earlier, but if you think Landlords are the ones paying the taxes you're nuts. It's all built into the cost of rent each month and the tenant pays them.

Cant stand landlords. It takes no skill just access to capital that most people dont have.

All landlords, by definition, exploit people's need for shelter. That's certainly a valid reason to hate their profession, even if some individual landlords aren't necessarily bad people.

Were in the middle of a housing crisis and people have multiple homes they dont even use. How is that not fucked up? People should not be profiting off of peoples basic needs like shelter and healthcare. It just isnt right.

This. There's literally more money allocated by the federal govt towards rent relief than the amount of rent debt that currently exists. They're just too incompetent to dole it out.

Landlords usually do have jobs. The property is an investment for them, like stocks. Only a small percentage inherit the property and they kinda suck
