We did this for *ourselves*. You are welcome to read my *glowing review* of Stagecoach, but it's not like I'm aiming to meet some critical threshold that *you* have in your head in order for my opinions to somehow become valid. The idea that you hold that view is, quite frankly, delusional.

The point is to watch movies you may have not have already seen, or even ones you have seen before, and share our thoughts with eachother. That way, we can see how we all saw the movies differently, and perhaps learn something about the movie that we didn't pick up on ourselves. Or perhaps it helps us solidify our thoughts. if anybody wants to, we can continue to discuss certain points where we agree or disagree.

That's literally the best way to learn and grow from a critical standpoint. The idea that everyone should just have some correct review or opinions on a movie you've seen from the beginning is just absurd.

And yeah, I'll absolutely double down on the idea that if you don't agree with *our* takes, then you are welcome to give your own thoughts. If you aren't willing to do that, then you *should* take your complaints elsewhere. If you are going to have an open discussion about a film, then feel free to join the discussion, but if you just want to do drive by "ugh, your opinions are so bad" posts then you are just being a child and your comments are completely meaningless.

I haven't watched many westerns at all, but I always conceptually liked westerns. Only watched Django Unchained and GBU on this list, though.

I did however watch The Sisters Brothers a few days ago and I really liked it. I thought the acting from the four main actors were really good. Somehow, Joaquin Phoenix was the weakest link. I also really liked the daily living activities. I notice I tend to enjoy that more and more in movies; scenes where the action slows down and you see these mundane things that give you a look into what the characters' lives are like.

that's fair. but like i said, there were tons of belligerent "WHERE WAS YOUR LIST?" posts in this topic. that's what i'm talking about.

like... i'm not allowed to comment on these movies or writeups because i didn't participate in this project? what the hell?
