He scales better with more enemies lmao. His single target damage is so bad compared to what he does when surrounded by Hilichurls.

Alright i've finally finished the story to this point and can come out of self imposed exile. I'm not too sure how I feel about Ayaka at this point. She feels kinda fun to play but her kit doesn't really "mesh" with itself imo. Her Ult does a lot of damage but otherwise you want to mix in a lot of charge attacks from what i've seen. I've paired her with Xingque and that works as far as freezing goes so maybe i'll try her with different comps to see.

I prefer Ayaka + Fischl. You can shift back and forth between Phys DMG and Cryo while superconducting. But yeah, Ayaka is kind of weird and, imo, a bit clunky.

The PMA quest unlocked today and I gotta say fighting that thing 11 times in a row with zero variance is not really my idea of fun. It reminds me of the cryo regisvine quest from 1.3. maybe I'll do it in co-op.

this is just fighting the same PMA over and over after we already grinded the shit out of it for Ayaka

You get 5 at 60.

Honestly though this game needs to be a lot more generous with Acquaint Fates. The character rewards were a nice idea but there needs to be a replenishing source. Like, after hitting reputation 10, doing 3 bounties in that area gives an Acquaint Fate.

Sayu's reaction healing is garbage. It's literally just 300 HP + 1.2 HP for every point of EM you have. Giving her an extremely generous 600 EM, that roughly translates to 1020 HP every 2 seconds max. It's meant to be on par with things like Jean's passive attack heal.

Meanwhile Qiqi's talisman can be inflicted at all times even when her burst is down and heals proportionally to the damage you do functionally scaling with the scaling itself.

Sayu is simply going to be a side grade to Bennett. She'll have better healing since she can heal up to 100% while Bennett can't but her other contributions as a support are lackluster. Additionally there's no EM claymores except Rain slasher and Bloodstained which are both terrible.

There's no hope of her even coming close to replacing Jean and definitely can't heal better than Qiqi.

I'd argue the energy recharge set is better for XQ than NO at this point. You can put NO on someone else like Bennett.

lol "extremely generous"? Reaching 800 EM is easy, going beyond that is tough without buffs. And yeah, it's 1260 HP heals for the whole group every 2 seconds every swirl.
At C1, should you get hit, you fall below 70% hp and Sayu's tanuki will immediately restore your health each tick until you go back to 70% (from which point the swirl healing will keep you safe).

Then C6 will have the tanuki scale on EM, too.

Jean wastes your field time with her insignificant passive attack damage, Sayu does this whole thing in 1 press and adds shred, swirl, at C6 EM scaled tanuki damage.

More like there is no hope for a waste of field time like Jean to even come close to being as useful as Sayu and people already treat Qiqi like the worst char for only healing, while Sayu has a very good kit for keeping everyone at 100% HP, grants good utility on top of it.

Reminder Sayu's swirl healing only kicks in while she's active on the field. If she drops her tanuki burst and leaves, none of the swirls will be healing. Only the tanuki's direct heals will work. Sayu's burst just seems like a weaker version of Jean's with some limitations. Which isn't a bad thing, she just seems like a budget Jean.

My C3 Eula utterly decimated this boss fight event.

In any case, as you'd expect this is what happens if you "invite" Beidou if you're already at C6

Just saying, Sayu's healing seems a lot more restricted than you might realize. Especially since honey impact doesn't really specify the "specific intervals" on her burst. Diona's healing really sucks because of its intervals and it's only saved by having quick shield access.

Bennett and Noelle are the best healers, albeit for different reasons.

Noelle is a safe and guaranteed way to heal the entire party, and Bennett's healing is so damn fast it's comical

So how does everyone feel about Baal so far? Ngl felt kinda mad getting beat by her in the cutscene and me being dumb I bring my Electro Keqing into the fight to watch her do nothing. I'm really curious how this is all going to turn out since it seems like there has to be a 3rd party almost to come to conclusion.

Also the leaks for her skills makes seem like she's going to be a monster support/sub dps. People sleeping on her damage but I see the potential although it doesn't seem like she'll be main dps potential due to her up times unfortunately.

I wouldn't compare her damage output to pure carries imo. I wish she was a pure dps especially based off what we've seen but it is what it is. I think she'll be better then most people give her credit for on a comp based around her energy recharge.

Geo make shields and Zhongli has the best shield. Ameno is known for CC and Venti has one of if not the best CC in the game. Baal is electro so unless her multipliers were crazy high being a support was a given.

So I'm basically under the assumption that the Pyro archon and/or The Tsaritsa are gonna be absolutely broken when it comes to DPS.

Ayaka 10/8/10, leveling complete!
And since I was already in the menu, I randomly rose Klee from 10/8/8 to 10/9/9.

Seems like I have all artifacts and weapons ready for Sayu (full EM gear and crit balance, ATK, Recharge mixed into substats). Gonna try Rainslasher.

And Kokomi (actually have 3 good +20 circlet variations with HP% main stat, Healing Power with high HP substats and Healing Power with very high ATK% stat). Going to try 2x Heart of Depth (hydro power), 2x Maiden's (scales healing power additionally directly into damage multipliers?). Will try Sacrificial R2, but Amber R2 is an option. There's still enough time to collect more refinements for both.

That means I'm all out of urgent things to spend resin on, guess I should grind Ayaka's Blizzard gear, reducing my critrate with cryo resonance closer to something like 80-90%, and trying to raise critdmg all the way to 250% if possible?
My circlet and goblet in particular are kinda bad

I think I might go space whale for C6 Baal tbh. Her CD reduction for all teammates burst is probably one of the most broken things in the game besides perma CC, that and I might be a Electro Stan somewhat. She's probably the last character I go C6 for even though I'm pretty sure I said that about Eula lol

It'll take about $1000 unless you get really lucky or really unlucky.

Honestly it's not worth it but it's your money spend it on whatever makes you happy. Remember Yae Mika is also Electro.

I got super lucky with Eula, but the game was basically throwing her at me so I don't expect that to happen again. Unless Yae is extremely interesting I'll probably just get one copy of her and move one. But honestly I know it's not worth it at all but I'm not sure it matters too much at the same time.
