There is a large muscular black dude that I train with (various martial arts) that wants to train in one of our local parks near his home but can't because every time he does the cops harass him.

I looked up more about this story. Firstly, there are parks where only adults and their children are allowed. (I think the actual wording is that men over the age of 8 cannot be at a park unless they are with their kids or parents) I believe this video takes place near Vegas. There are three "kids only" parks in Vegas. However, that is a city law, not a county one. The park the girl is sitting at is outside city limits, so even if someone were to want to make that park a kids only park, there would be no law backing it up. The cops seem to be claiming that that is what was happening though, it becomes a kids park next week.

The cops also drove onto the park. This is pretty clearly a show of force, and a common tactic to put people on edge so that they'll do something like flee or panic, giving cops "probable cause" to make some kind of arrest. Stating she would go talk to the park police was likely the right move, as it forced the cops to realize they were out of their jurisdiction.

Thars all the information I was able to find about this incident. Oh, and that's not a typo in the "men over 8" thing. Absolutely bizarre law. Also fun fact, while digging into this I found out that loitering is a protected right. Businesses may declare no loitering, but there is no crime in loitering. The worst they can do is remove you from the premises. In spite of this, cops regularly cite it as an intimidation tactic.

^ theres a lot of wrong with your post but I dont feel like arguing. Ill just point out that the officer would not lose jurisdiction, they are Clark county officers. At the end of the day, park police is bottom of the rung
