I vape too i think it helps tho because i try to make them huge puffs so have to take deep breath. Also if i want to feel lightheaded or not release any vapor i hold the vape in my lungs for a bit

So i tried 3 different ways.

1) Take a deep breath, hold it. No inhaling, no exhaling. Scored a 8. Recovery was quick, like 10 breaths before attempt 2.
2) Breath in, breath out, fully exhale, hold. Scored a 4. Recovery was slow, like 3-4 minutes before attempt 3.
3) Breath in deep, hold it, start timer. Slowly release air. Scored 10 easily, recovery near immediate.

Got to just past 9. I took a kinda deep but not "as deep as I possibly can" breath at the start.

Smoked tobacco for 6 years, then vaped for 4 more, and smoked "tobacco" fairly heavily most of that time too. Mind you, I think it's less "that didn't have an effect" and more "it had an effect, but that just brought me down from really good to just good", because I used to be able to do upwards of 2 minutes.
