I used to, because the interest rate there was higher than most local banks. But when interest rates went down a while back, I wound up pulling my money out because it was more convenient to just keep it in my local bank.

Most credit unions are owned by their members and are non-profit or not-for-profit, so they can charge lower interest and fees on loans & credit cards and pay better interest on savings accounts and CDs.

I used one for my last two car loans because they had lower interest rates. I dontuse them for anything else though.

I honestly don't know what reason I would have to use a bank over my CU. Maybe back in the day when online banking wasn't a thing so you actually had to go to a bank to do shit, but I haven't had to step foot in a building in years.
