Some other HMs:
Totem Dragon
This is a neat little dragon that is the one I mentioned in a previous post. It gets destroyed by battle, it comes back next turn, AND counts as 2 tributes if you really wanna tribute summon.

Keeper of the Shrine
This one got held out on design because it's just a guy labeled as a dragon, but it is a great dragon support card, and I used it a ton back in the day on ygopro along with the other named suspects.

OHHHHH Derp, yeah I knew about that card as well (though I did forget about it). I love the design (see my earlier comment about liking light/dark together) but I don't really like using it, it's too hard to use imo. Can't be special summoned is fault #1, but then none of its other effects are optional. You MUST negate stuff, even your own stuff. You MUST destroy all your cards when this thing is destroyed. The negating just makes it prone to being beat over. I just don't like the double edged aspect of it. It was a good suggestion though!

thematically perfect though and it is still a 2800 ATK that could force your opponent to spend resources to out it if they couldn't and you at least never had to worry about your resources you spent to summon it going to waste like when you tributed for a Blue-Eyes and then it got fissured or trap holed immediately; you were always going to get value out of it

damn it's cool

Heiratic Dragons
I was never a fan of their gimmick which revolves around summoning other dragons and giving them 0 atk/def, mainly because the purpose is to go into synchros/xyzs. I will say Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis is probably worth a mention as it's really good and I like the way it looks, but meh.

Dragunity
This is an archetype revolving around using other dragunity cards as equip cards, but kind of the same as Heiratics, usually goes into the types I don't like. Also, they are mostly distinctly humanoid in design which I've said I don't really like either.
My two favorite dragon archetypes lol.

This topic was an interesting read. You have...particular tastes and seem very hipster, at least about ygo lol.

That is an accurate summation! A great thing about the game is there's multiple archetypes even within each creature type. There's basically something for everyone.

Also just a small detail, but the Hieratic's don't changed their atk/def to 0 but run a set of vanilla 8* with 0 atk/def. Wait, that's not exactly accurate either I think one of them summons but then it becomes 0? Geez I can't even remember and it's hasn't been that long lol. But anyway yeah it's just to get them out as Xyz material.

But anyway I just love their Egyptian dragon aesthetic, you don't see that often.

I thought the thing was that you can use an effect of a heiratic monster to summon another heiratic monster but you make the new monster's atk/def 0 (though as you said there are a few normally 0/0 monsters, like seal of the heratic sun dragon overlord). Which ofc isn't a big deal since you just use them to go into extra deck plays

Yeah I did a quick look and it's because the vanilla monsters usually used in conjunction are already 0/0 so that part is kinda moot. I think I've splashed in a 6* for making specific extra summons but that's about it.
