I personally haven't touched a single PCP call in the last week. 1 pharmacist, 2 techs, 150 vaccinations and 1,000 scripts a day yeah fuck that. I want customers to get pissed and file complaints.

I literally did nothing but production today and we still left 40 scripts overdue for tomorrow. Motherfuckers wanted us to clean the entire pharmacy this weekend for a upcoming visit from like corporate HQ. Hard to do when there is 1 tech and 1 pharmacist for 80% of the weekend

Wtf? Pharmacists should start at like $70k per year. One more example of seeing your parents generation do the job for a nice salary and then you get less than $15/hr. This shit has got to stop. Meanwhile, corporate is working their hands to the bone to figure how much they can get away with underpaying and overworking you. Corporate greed has never been as bad as it is now.

What. 1 pharmacist for 1000 scripts a day?? How is that legal?

Ive always said good techs should get paid way more than they do for the work they put in. A good tech is an invaluable resource in any pharmacy.

I think about dropping my job pretty soon. They just arent paying enough vs the competitors. Especially with my experience. People with my experience are getting over $20 per hour in my area. This is in Georgia

I actually broke down and told to a 'Karen' to Shut the Fuck up yesterday.
...I literally came out and said it.

She was berating a new hire at the counter, asking for her receipt as she was holding it in her hand and staring at it. I watched go on for about a minute, and then just broke...I wasn't having it.

She accused me of swearing, then I reminded her of the 1st Amendment.
Then she came back with me not going to heaven or being godly...even though I was baptized about a two minutes walk from there. I'm pretty sure Jesus would care more about how you treat someone, over a swear word.

...I never thought I'd have that moment, but it happened.

I was just a customer, but I work in the same plaza.
We are work neighbors. I shoot over there after work regularly.
That's how I know he was a new hire.

But ya, the Religious thing was something else.
Particularly considering I was Baptised, took my first communion, and attended my Grandfather's Funeral service so close.

It was a moment.
...I kinda wish I went in on her harder, but she knew she was out classed and back tfo.

Welp. I feel like shit. Had a Zoom interview today and think I absolutely bombed it. This hospital is the only place I heard back from and they were interviewing me for 3 positions at once. I can only hope my resume is strong enough and they understand my struggles were due to my condition.

Might be stuck in this shithole for a minute.

I make $20/hr working as a senior tech for a Walgreens specialty pharmacy in a hospital.

I've heard the horror stories of what's going on in retail right now grateful for where I'm at. I'm going back to get my MBA because while I have a comfortable wage for a single person, I've got a kid on the way and don't want to just keep treading water.

I've never understood how we're okay with paying the people who keep our country running (retail workers, medical staff) so poorly. Where is the incentive for people to work these hard and absolutely necessary jobs when they're paid so little?

Just got my latest schedules from work. Since they have yet to hire a single new person, I have several weeks of mandatory overtime and I continue to work open to close every weekend.

I might literally move to fast food while I continue the job hunt.

But I went in today asked the manager if they were their for it...trying to stick up for the new hire.
I was a Sunday...so she wasn't there, but her and the other cashier laughed and thanked me for talling the woman to 'Shut the Fuck up'

It was one of those you said what we've always wanted to say, kinda moments.

Save every last fucking scrap of data/documents related to your overtime. Make goddamn fucking sure they pay it.
