was seeing her for about 4 months and then she dumped me lol but wanted to remain friends. Obvs I declined her offer and I blocked/deleted her but since then shes been on my mind constantly for the past two weeks

im talking about every 2-3 mins she pops up in my mind every single day

maybe was I too hasty to block the girl or something maybe theres things left unsaid there or something? I dont know. Why shes still on my mind.

But if you 'Blocked' them and didn't do it impulsively (like most Millennials do nowadays) then it's a good reason for them to stay 'Blocked'...if not, I'm pretty sure she will find a way to contact you (I had that happen to me)

I think you should keep her blocked. Youre not ready to be friends yet now even if that is a possibility down the line. You need space if youre thoughts are this obsessive and she only wants to be friends. If you feel there are possibly some things left unsaid, Id recommend writing out some mock texts but dont send them. It will help process your feelings on this.

Have you ever felt this way before about anybody else? In my experience, I end up not having those thoughts anymore with time and separation

Before considering the friendzone, ask yourself if you're comfortable seeing her date other people. If not, trying to be her friend is going to cause unnecessary stress and tension as she moves on and you don't (this is especially likely where she dumped you and has no further romantic attachment). If so, then yeah, you probably were too hasty in blocking her.

In all likelihood, you're not interested in reconnecting because you think it'd actually be a good time, you're looking to reconnect because you're hoping she's changed her mind or that you can figure out something you could do differently to get another shot. She most likely hasn't and you most likely can't, so reconnecting will most likely just end up being unpleasant for one or both of you.
