I'll begrudgingly watch tonight's episode and the finale but I can't say I'm very interested after how bad the last episode was (bottom 25 ever imho). Inviso 12/08/21 6:20:39 PM #462:	While I HATE the insistence on adding twists to every episodes, this cast has really managed to fight off the worst instincts of the producers. I've enjoyed this season (aside from a brief blip at the non-merge merge) far more consistently than the past three seasons, and at least 41 is less likely to have a disappointing ending like DvG. This might legitimately be the best season since Kaoh Rong at this point...which is admittedly an indictment on the franchise as a whole. --- Touch fuzzy. Get fuzzier. I will say that after all the talk of either a woman or POC winning, especially in the past two episodes, Xander winning would feel a little icky, but I like him and he would be a deserving winner. But the editing this season has been confusing so they don't advertise the winner like in WAW, but it's doing so at expense of an overall narrative. It's hard to find a middle ground, so I get why they're overcorrecting. Fans complain that the editing was too predictable, they make it unpredictable. Then the fans complain about it being too confusing and incoherent, and they go back to the way it was. There's no pleasing this fandom. I would be happy to have a female winner for the first time in a while but both women left have less than desirable edits. Erika's has nuance, sure, but the problem stems from Luvu never going to Tribal and the show bloating episodes with the Summits and advantage hunting. They did not have the time to allocate that they did for Tandang in Philippines.
