What was the username again? I asked her if the man she was divorcing was that user but she didn't answer me.

Also, I remember the topic where this started and I found it sadly amusing that this all happened because Gunpla got upset over the TC using "bruh". Things were going alright before then. Of all the things to make a mountain out of a molehole into and turn into week long dramas.

I don't even come here when I'm having a really awful depression day. That's just part of self-care and taking initiative to avoid doing things that would potentially make it worse. I'm not sure why you're interpreting a self-care suggestion as the absolute extreme

Her philosophy seems to be that asking her (or anyone) to be responsible for their own mental wellbeing is offensive and unheard of. There was a topic about sexual violence in Game of Thrones, with much of the discussion being around the fact that it's far worse in the show than the books because David and Dan are creeps. She came into the topic and had a giant meltdown about how anyone who consumes content with sexual violence (male or female) is a creep and it should never be portrayed for any reason even if it's shown to be bad. When people suggested that not all media is for everyone and she should stay away from something like GoT if it's going to be triggering she just melted down more at the suggestion that any content be off limits to her.

Well, I find that very interesting, because I've seen her say that very same thing to other people. That if certain things are triggering to them, maybe they should avoid it

This was pointed out to her in said topic nearly verbatim.

But she also constantly decries misogyny then makes topics saying all kinds of horribly misogynistic shit about women who are into kink, so hypocrisy is nothing new for her.

Flicking back a bit - can anyone talk about the circumstances leading to gunplagirl's warn, then the contention with her pithy apology topic, and then her suspension? Because everything I've seen has just been super fragmented and barely legible.

First she was warned for bringing up someone's deceased GF for argument points, doubled down the entire time. Warned. Then she went on her alt when people said she should apologize. I think she was warned here too.

After warning, she goes into a topic about someone's being unable to have children, makes it about herself and subtly insults the user. Then doubles down and drags Cleo through the mud. Warned. Gets on her alt, doubles down harder. Suspended.

Makes a topic with a fake apology, obviously bait. Suspended.

There was also another event that I am forgetting. Probably has something to do with her calling someone transphobic or bigoted though.

I don't actually have the quotes or remember them all off the top of my head, but a lot of it in the initial topic was 'oh, so CLEO can talk about this but I can't" and just dragging her into the conversation as a shield, among other stuff.

he apparently posted something that with no context was quite innocuous, but she felt in context that it was really rude and dismissive of what she was going through?
sounds kinda similar to what gunpla got suspended for, though in one case everyone's arguing for the post to be considered in context while in the other they're trying to remove it and claim there's nothing specifically offensive about some random hockey player
feels a little weird tbh

Because people already have their minds made up about gunpla and Calypso

I have seen them consistently shit on for every little thing they do.

They want the situation to look as bad for them as they can make it out to be so the "inconsistency" in taking things in context there are very consistent

I dont have an issue with Calypso; I dont neccesarily like her but I have nothing against her. Gunpla on the other hand I had originally liked a lot but then as I paid more attention, I saw how ugly her behavior really is.
