I made a topic about an issue I was having between my girlfriend and her friend. I get massively downvoted and shit on for explaining my side of the issue. They claim she should break up with me and I'm worthless. All I wanted was to see how best to handle a dispute between three parties. FFS.

go to the gym buy new clothes. While youre at it, sell your car and a buy 20 year old Honda. Dont eat anything but ramen and never go out again. Save up a 6 month emergency fund then you can buy milk

Reddit leans far enough left that it goes into the crazy left, where they likely aren't going to have much sympathy for the "privledged party".

So like

T > LGB > CisHet
PoC > Asian >?= White
Woman > Man
Sewage > republicans

Create a second account, pretend to be a girl or trans and ask the exact same question and they'll probably give you good sympathetic advice.

Or just tell the same story but casually slip in that she's a trump supporter and you'll get tons of help/support/praise.

This kinda thing is like clockwork over there.

My girlfriend got mad at her and now they're not talking. Now, she saying maybe her friend is right. Why don't I have more motivation to improve? Hanging around in the reddit logic of relationships would make MTGOW more appealing. Imagine spending all your time in a culture that simultaneously dunks on you for being a man but also whenever it comes to relationships goes into this whole "men have to be a provider, it's not a give and take, you have to worship/serve her, and she don't owe you shit, if you can't handle her at her worst you don't deserve her"

That toxic reddit mentality is what makes people go "fuck relationships".

Fortunately actual healthy relationships are partnerships and nothing like what both sides of toxic reddit thinks they are.

sooo, this board pretty much.

Also reddit is fine because the smaller subreddits have great communities. Like any other site or app it doesnt turn to shit until you go to the big subreddits who are mostly just repost and karma whoring.

Also TC, those subreddits are trash because its a bunch of people who think every bf/gf is toxic and abusive. Same thing with AITA. Dont hold too much stock into what those people say.

The post could literally be something like "My boyfriend never puts the milk cap back on all the way and we just fought about it"
they will say things like "He's gaslighting you, you need to break up with him" or "This are just microaggressions and its going to get worse"

Reddit literally believes theyre the front page of the internet. Thats their actual slogan.

Reddit has this toxic ego to it that is most easily seen on any kind of relationship advice subreddit. People come to them with real world problems and people with no real world experience, just LOVE to ply judge, jury and executioner.

Just remember these people are nobodies. They want to make villains out of anyone and theyre trolls. They dont care about advice or anything healthy. Its all just trying to feed this ego of judging people and acting like theyre not just another group of idiots on the internet
