John Mcafee states multiple times on Twitter that the US government is threatening him and planning to kill him and call it suicide, John McAfee commits suicide and mainstream news outlets report it as suicide and nothing else

The supreme court rules that Nestle and Hershey are allowed to use child slave labor as long as it's being done in another country, Africa, on the same day Juneteenth was made a federal holiday. Black child slavery upheld on Juneteenth.

There isn't a child in war-torn countries without shell shock, and none of you can do anything about it

Bribery is still legal and people aren't rioting over it and never will

The fact that today isn't Juneteenth somehow isn't the least of this topic's problems >_>

Literally not the ruling, nor was it Nestle and Hershey doing it. It concerned a pretty obvious jurisdictional issue where you had a crime being committed in a country against people living in that country who were kidnapped from another country -- none of which is the US -- where they were trying to sue a the purchaser of products in a country that had dickall to do with any of that stuff.

...short of one nation taking over the whole world and exterminating all resistance, nobody can stop people from suffering shell-shock in war-torn countries and imperialism is probably a shitty solution to that anyway.

That's overlooking that the general statement is wrong anyway because there are *plenty* of children in war-torn countries without shell-shock because you're going to have protected areas and areas where there isn't fighting.

Uh, what? That's completely wrong as a sweeping general statement.

I mean they have been aiding and abetting slave labor for decades and I've been paying attention the whole time but ok if you want to believe those things there's nothing I can do about it.

I also know you see nothing wrong with our current system that doesn't account for any kind of corruption, and I don't know what you would consider to be corruption, something that has historically crippled countries and caused uprisings.

I'm hearing a lot of weasel words.

What? That's a wacky claim divorced from anything remotely resembling reality. How many people have been arrested for corruption in just the past decade? How many corruption investigations have sidelined politicians? There's been a tremendous amount done regarding corruption, even if people vote people who went to prison for corruption back into the jobs where they did their shady shit. At that point, it's not even the system's fault, it's the general public's.

and I don't know what you would consider to be corruption,

I would imagine the same things everybody except you views as corruption, if you somehow think we aren't doing anything about corruption.

Example of corruption: Senators not enacting certain legislation because it would make their donors mad.

Credit card companies pushing politicians to not reimburse consumers for fraudulent credit card charges.

100% legal.

Note that historians do not look at the past laws regarding corruption to determine if something was corruption and instead define something as corruption by the basic meaning of the word.

Of course corruption was often legal.

yep. the people who were just given permission to go and get him legally, then ordered a hit on him that same day

makes perfect sense

instead of listening to a crazy man who lost a bet to eat his own dick and also faked a heart attack to get out of a different jail, they reported on the news of his suicide by reporting that he killed himself. that's what they're supposed to do, because that's the only thing that happened.
