When people are making big splashes on a good spin, they tend to post about it. What you don't see is when they make big gambles on a meme stock and lose 69%. It recovered only to tank like 20% in a day again after a short seller report earlier this month Apologies for it being another survivorship bias story but that stock rebounded both times. I averaged down and it worked out but that probably doesn't work for every stock. Like DIS is my next biggest loser I bought in at 185 and it hasn't been over $180 in a while but the loss isnt life damaging.
