Sometimes it has sometimes it hasn't. They were the ones encouraging me to just tell a girl I was a virgin which is finally what worked(obviously after a few dates and after making out).

All my guy friends said under no circumstances tell a girl you're inexperienced because they'll just not want to fuck you. Fake it til you make it etc. Always be confident. Turns out girls aren't all cold robots lol.

My whole Tinder example was kind of my way of demonstrating the vast difference between men & women when it comes to relationship advice. Because men would just love girls to come up to them and ask them for sex....in theory. In reality if that were to happen it would be kind of weird.

You know. Like all men complain about needy, insecure, high maintenance women - yet this is still what we choose to date. This is attractive somehow. In contrast, all women complain about selfish, insincere, asshole men - yet this is still what women choose to date. This is attractive somehow.

For the most part get your advice from someone of your own sex who has been in your same situation, dealth with the same hurdles, and conquered them.

Tbh it's illegal where I live and I don't have the street smarts to get around that, but either way honestly I probably wouldn't be able to enjoy sex if I didn't have decent reason to believe the woman was also enjoying things. Really don't want to it to be one-way enjoyment.

Hmm all fair points. Though I think there shouldn't be a hard and fast rule for anything I guess. Everyone's different. A lot of male advice tends to be black and white.

The advice I got from my female friends about just telling a girl I was dating I was a virgin came from knowing a lot about me and knowing my half hearted, timid and just plain scared attempts at flirting and being confident (which was me trying to follow my male friend's advice) were probably far more weird and off-putting than just trying to talk about my situation. As candidly as possible as course. Obviously I wasn't crying or blaming people. You can do it in a way that isn't pathetic

At least honesty leaves little in the way of confusion.

There's both some good advice in this thread and (more importantly) good examples of why advice is difficult to follow. I'm 42 but looking back I can see moments in life where I had quite a few of these deeply ingrained thoughts ... just wished I had a better understanding of how I moved past them.

Most of the "normies" got driven off the platform by what use to be the vocal minority of what is basically CE & Politics nowadays - the awkward kids from the early 2000's that physically aged but never really evolved passed that social recluse mindset.

This is no longer the minority, it's the majority. The average poll of the day gets aout 12 thousand votes, and the average age is 34. The majority of the old school users who just developed into "normies" stick to mainstream social media.

It is what it is.

I never learned the needed social skills for it while I was young. I can talk to woman perfectly normal for busines purposes but approaching, talking for extended periods of time and moving into the courtships praise idk how to do at all.

Could just hire a prostitution since I have no moral qualms there on top of the disposal income now but I'm also kind of frugal when it comes to miscellaneous things like that. And I'm also afraid of getting busted.

It's basically impossible to grow this place as is. I mean, the young hip TikTok & Twitch crowd doesn't want to come hangout on GameFaqs where 60% of the userbase are 30 year old virgins.

Yeah that seemed like the problem with most megaforums before reddit destroyed them at the time.

A big thing that I noticed that destroyed mega forums was the moderation team. They dealt with an exponentially growing userbase by increasing the number of bans. I've seen other forums straight up ban Internet wide personalities. Zyzz was permanently banned from the bb.com/misc because a moderator was jealous. If mega forums had better moderator teams, moderator teams that weren't working for free, then I bet a lot of these forums would still be active.

I sort of feel for virgins since I only lost my virginity in high school because some girls thought I was cute enough that they straight up asked me out and I got it on with one of them that I actually connected with. But after having some slutty periods in my 20's...gotta be honest, don't really get it. Work on your game, it's not that complex.
