When the PS3 came out a long time ago, i skipped out on getting one because the console was so damn expensive. Instead I just had a Wii. I had a friend who had a PS3, and all we played was call of duty.

Definitely don't hesitate in getting Tales of Graces f. It is one of the best Tales games and most other PS3 games have PC releases by now.

The Uncharted games? They were pretty much the only exclusives I was kind of sad about missing when I dropped the PS3 in favor of the 360.

Though since I went with the PS4 over the Xbone I was able to play them all anyway since they up-ported them.

The PS3 also opens up a shit load of awesome PS1 and PS2 games via PSN. If you missed out on any hidden gems from those gens, that's honestly its best feature more so than its actual library. Also note that (as far as I know, works for my Slim model...) all PS3 consoles can play PS1 game discs. Only the original models can play PS2 discs.

Yeah it's dope. Real fun game

Yup. It's a great side scrolling beat 'em up with a loot system reminiscent of Diablo II. You chain runs through the dungeon areas and the longer you can go, the better the loot and experience rewards get. Can get pretty addictive, and you can play with friends, too.

The Orange Box. Best way to play those games.

I'll try to go over this soon to suggest titles, but one thing you could look at it the list of PS1 and PS2 Classics, they can be an inexpensive method for getting rare titles.

Infamous 1 and 2, 1 is quite a bit dated but still very playable and 2 is a bit better. Best superhero games out there imo.

this is what i wanted to know. I see a lot are being ported to the ps4 and PC. the tales games specifically have not been proted

Happy to help. There are cases where I didn't list games which might be on PS3 in a better form than another system though. Tales of Graces F for example, it fixed issues, adds plenty of content the Wii release lacks, and still has access to DLC.

pulled the trigger on ordering tales of graces f. I'm gonna do the same next week with the Xillia Games.

I dunno, the system library is mostly a bunch of PS2 HD collections with Demon Souls & 3D Dot Heroes on the side for me. Can't say I got a lot of use out of it. Kinda a weak gen in general. Probably have more affection for the 360 for the Ninja Gaiden Black & Ninja Gaiden II wombo combo and the better controller. Although, I do have about 6 playthroughs on Demon Souls, so that is no slouch, but Dark Souls will always be better in my mind. Demon Souls is one of the weaker titles in the series for me. Too many weak areas and bosses in Demon Souls plus unstable 30 fps kinda sucks now a days
