Nah. I like having a weekly release for some shows. Its rare to have something that the family can watch together on a set day.

If it was released as a whole Id end up watching it out of order because that is something weird I do.

I would've just waited for all the episodes to come out .. but the Missus insisted. That way I could've caught up on the other stuff I've missed and cancel the subscription before it rolls over to another month

Still doesnt make it suck any less that we have to wait on a weekly basis to watch it. Especially since people like to talk about different shows and spoil things. Or just because they want to talk to you about it

That's the whole point, honestly.

People are more likely to talk about a show that's episodic than one that dumps all at once. People talking about your show encourages other people to want to watch it, either because they're afraid of missing out/getting spoiled, or because what they're hearing (or just other people's excitement) sounds interesting.

Your frustration is the engine that gets more people to subscribe to Disney+. Which is literally the only thing they actually care about.

Well, the main difference is, in this case, it's far more likely to actually be written well.

Also, unlike the female Doctor mostly coming out of nowhere for social justice reasons, Loki has actually been female in the comics before. And in the actual mythology.

Idk. I mean, when Lucifer dumped the last half, we all talked about that, as well So, now I just do my best to avoid Loki spoilers waiting for it to all come out. For me, it works the opposite. Im more likely to not watch it because Ill either be spoiled and wont care for it, or just forget about it

Which is another reason I dont like it. Its like how people talked about GoT constantly. Either way, I luckily havent had to hear much. I think only a few people here are watching it. And they havent said much yet. But yeah. I get that want it to be talked about for longer. Its still kind of scummy and sucks. And kind of makes me want to watch it less. Either way, Ill just wait for the whole thing to come out before watching it
