I'm making a point that mainstream media coverage is slanted. Most people will only become aware of a racist attack if it involves a white person perpetrating it. If this exact scenario played out, it would be a main headline on CNN and other sites for days and there would be constant updates, opinion articles, etc. etc.

I just want fair coverage. I'm tired of slanted stories and them selectively choosing what to talk about. These companies aren't news reporters anymore and shouldn't be regarded as such.

I don't particularly care for Fox News, either. But they do seem to cover all racially motivated events regardless of the perpetrator's race. They are biased, too, but when it comes to things that actually result in injury and shootings they will report as it is and not shy away.

And the story would probably be bigger if the victims died. But shootings are so common in America that non lethal shootings are barely considered news.

As mentioned previously ITT, CNN didn't report the facts of the events. They never said a black person shot 5 white people because they were white. They never followed up with the story. Do you think if a white person did the same thing to black people they would have? I think it would have been a much bigger story, but would love to hear your opinion.

A) @Sackgurl Yes actually, I AM entertained! Missed Houston's ramshackle attempts at arguments/debates, loved UR's carpet bombing
B) Last year he started a thread titled "DeBlasio's New York" about some racial attack (I think) and when asked how it was the mayor's fault, said he saw lots of "Trump's America" topics and felt it was only fair. Someone searched CE and screenshotted to show there weren't any threads with that title and he said "cute"
C) After 1/6 he didn't post much but did chime in on some threads to say he "found it interesting that people that supported BLMs destructive riots were now criticizing capitol protesters". Only when directly prompted did he say the 1/6 mob was in the wrong and refused to answer if Trump's "when the looting starts the shooting starts" Tweet was hypocritical.
