The only people I still talk to regularly are zucaffa and no one else really.

When I went to the "PotD discord" it was getting like five messages a day lol

I don't know what it's like now, that was a couple years ago, but if people feel like they're missing out on a good time, or there are some juicy things going on, I'm pretty sure neither of those are the case

We're talking about Conservatives. If we're going to compare the 'general' right to the 'general' left, Conservatives are - by far - less fun. Yes, there are left-wingers who are not fun - you are going to find far more average 'fun' people on the left.

If I date a girl and meet her parents, who am I more likely to have fun with? A Conservative family? Or a Liberal/further left family? If you think the likelihood is higher with the Conservative family, I have a barn to sell you.

PotD has some really bizarre opinions, which I can only guess comes from the fact that they don't get out much, if at all >_>

An average liberal vs an average conservative is generally going to be just about the same. Most of the time -- unless the subject comes up or they hold extreme stances -- you're probably not even going to realize which side they're on.

An average liberal vs an average conservative is generally going to be just about the same. Most of the time -- unless the subject comes up or they hold extreme stances -- you're probably not even going to realize which side they're on.

I'm kind of leaning into this point of view as a bit of a joke, but I do honestly think it's true. I find it really funny that you assume I 'don't get out much'. I've worked over 15 jobs in a variety of places. I've met a lot of people. I've hung out with people of all political stripes and love discussing it with them. I like talking to strangers in different cities, towns and foreign places.

Conservatives - on average - have far more boring taste. Conservatives contribute far less to music and art. Unless you want to hit up a Kid Rock concert.
