Would it kill you to get out of your own bubble for five minutes and experience things you don't know about? Even if you don't like something, instead of shitting on it, say something like "It was interesting, reminded me of (this)" and try to relate it to your own interests. That's how you find what you have in common with people. Also, you've been offered a lot of advice on this board over the years and seem resistant to utilizing any of it. Work on yourself. You don't seem like a bad dude but your personality needs some work. Get out of your own head and open yourself up to new experiences, even if they seem lame to you. I'm also part of a PoE discord (not the main one, a smaller one) and was part of a STO one (probably the 2nd most active one I posted in), but I recently left that one. Discord is at least marginally better than the soulless husk that is most social media (e.g. reddit) where nobody wants to know you or be your friend. Honestly can't tell half of the time if certain PotDers like me. Yea, nobody will let me into the PotD discord server despite asking multiple times. Oh, is that discord where the Moriarty of Trolling masterminds his malicious mischief? I always wondered where he facilitated his campaigns of harassment against the board's users. Far-Queue posted... Not trying to be a dick but if any time someone brings up a current video game or show or new music and your response is "meh it's not anime" or "It's not Trails of Cold Steel so I'm not interested" or "Who?" then no one is going to care to have a conversation with you about their interests. Would it kill you to get out of your own bubble for five minutes and experience things you don't know about? Even if you don't like something, instead of shitting on it, say something like "It was interesting, reminded me of (this)" and try to relate it to your own interests. That's how you find what you have in common with people. That and he has weirdly specific interests. Niche interests are really better suited to communities built around those interests.
